Reviews and Ratings
This hotel was such a cozy and inviting place to stay. The rooms were well-appointed with kiva fireplaces ready to use, comfortable king beds, and a lovely sitting area. The breakfast was absolutely terrific, and the service was top-notch. However, the pricing might be a bit steep for some visitors.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The room needed some freshening up but had a great view of the mountains, cozy with a quirky climb-out deck and a nightly restocked fireplace. The service was friendly but had a minor issue with following GPS instructions. The location was convenient for walking to plaza destinations but next to a noisy main street. The dining was delicious with a variety of options. Overall, it had its charms but also some drawbacks.
I had a delightful stay at this hotel. The rooms, although quite small, were well-appointed at every turn. The shower was wonderful and the single room was very comfortable, featuring a Keurig coffee machine, a selection of drinks, a cozy king bed, a fireplace, a love seat, a desk, large towels, robes, and slippers. The service from the staff members was uniformly excellent, helpful, and cheerful, with great knowledge of Taos and its attractions. The location, set within a beautiful private compound and walking distance to the Plaza, was a perfect base to explore the area like a local. The dining experience provided utterly delicious options, especially for coffee lovers. However, the dim lighting was a drawback in some areas, and the price could be considered a bit high for the value provided.
